About the flag

The flag is white with a symbol looking a bit like an eye consisting of two red spherical triangles with a blue disc in the centre, being the eye's pupil and containing an inscription in white initials "PTP". I spotted this flag somewhere in Lisbon's Bairro Alto on 7 October 2013.

Presentation

The Portuguese Workers' Party (Partido Trabalhista Português/PTP) was founded in 2009 and is a social-democratic small party, gained however only three seats in the 2011 elections of the regional assembly of Madeira Island. The party is considering itself to be a left centre party, more moderate than BE.
